Training Services

1. Quarterly update training.

2. Weapons qualification on a semi-annual basis. First by ASRB standard and then Semper-fi standard. Each armed officer must pass the POST level course with an 85% or better score. This exceeds law enforcement standards.

3. Annual refreshment training.

4. Initial training includes but not limited to:

a. Firearms safety training.

b. Weapons retentions.

c. Use of deadly force laws.

d. State laws pertaining to their job.

e. Use of ASP baton with semi-annual review.

f. Use of Eye Irritation Chemicals (Pepper Spray).

g. Communication skills.

h. De-escalation of force.

i. The ladder of escalating force.

j. Patrol methodology.

k. Criminal law as pertaining to security guards.

l. Crime scene security.

m. Search and seizure laws pertaining to security guards.

n. Use of cover and concealment.

o. Active shooter protocols.

5. Our guards are trained to protect lives and property with a sense of honor and pride. They are trained, supervised and meet rigorous expectations and all guards are certified card holders by the State of Alabama.

Here at Semper-fi Security we also offer guard card training to any agency that needs a guard to be certified. Using uncertified guards is dangerous, illegal and puts your company at legal risk.

We will assist a subject with all training and weapons qualifications required to obtain their guard card. Why? Because as the owner of this company, it truly bothers me when I see the true level of training companies provide, the poor quality of guards standing around with unprofessional attitudes and I wish I was somewhere else written all over their face. I have had the privilege of the security of our great country, I only want to pass that same sense on to your guards.
